Resignation of our Chair

Vanessa Young, the EMISNUG Chair since 2018 has resigned due a career move which made it difficult to maintain her position as Trustee and Chair of the Committee. The Committee and her fellow Trustees wish to record their thanks for steering the NUG so assuredly over these past 5 years and for all her hard work helping to organise the conferences, liaising with EMIS directors, working on the subcommittees, supporting the office and representing the NUG in many arenas. Perhaps not many people are aware of the responsibikites of a Trustee and the fact that you give up your valuable free time without remuneration to service the needs of the organisation. It is an honour but is also hard work, especially if you are running a busy practice and working for NHSD as Vanessa has been doing. So, thank you Vanessa!
