Training opportunities for EMIS NUG members are set to get a boost thanks to a partnership the EMIS NUG has formed with Ardens.
The partnership follows a recent procurement process in which the NUG sought to appoint a training provider which could take its training programme ‘EduNUG’ to the next level.
EMIS NUG chair Rachael Lankshear said:” As an organisation one of our key aims is to support our members to get the very best from their EMIS systems and provide the best possible patient care.
“As EMIS users ourselves we know firsthand the benefits of really understanding EMIS and making it work for us.
“Training and learning are key to this and that is why the EduNUG programme is such an important part of EMIS NUG membership.”
EMIS NUG will work with Ardens to provide training opportunities via Ardens Academy.
Dr Miles Carter of Ardens said: “We are looking forward to working with the EMIS NUG to provide EduNUG members with a comprehensive blended training approach. Together, our focus is to support GP practices to maximise EMIS Web utilisation to work more efficiently to deliver high quality patient care.
“Our robust training programme for EduNUG members will feature access to exclusive certified learning modules on Ardens Academy and an interactive online learning platform tailored to enhance your EMIS knowledge at your convenience.”
Access for EMIS NUG members will be available from April 15th, 2024, and will include sessions supporting new staff joining your practice, along with timely educational content addressing primary care needs.
